Free Online Workshops to Facilitate Team-building for Housing and Supports
ABOUT
Mary Nisson and her "techie" Savant Syndrome Autistic son, David Nisson PhD, use their skills help adults with ID/DD and their families build teams for planning living arrangements.
Our workshops are normally the final Saturday of each month via Zoom, but there will be no May meeting. The next meeting is in June, with exact date/time TBA. Registration for the June meeting will begin the first week in June.
Self Advocates and families are not required to attend meetings to get their name added to the contact list for their county. With that list, they can start emailing with other families about how to shop for, advocate for, and arrange housing and support services in their communities of choice.
MISSION: To provide to self advocates and their families a free online opportunity to network for resources.
To add your name to the contact list for your region and receive a copy, send an email to the following with your name and your county of residence:To see every adult with ID/DD in happy, healthy living arrangements provide a free
