Free Online Workshops for Adults with DD/ID, and Families to Network Together

ABOUT

Who We Are:

Mary Nisson (AKA "David's mom") - retired teacher, workshop leader, social networker

David M. Nisson, PhD - Savant Syndrome Autistic scientist and web developer

What We Do:

We host monthly Zoom meetings to help Regional Center clients, their families, and their communities to collaborate in planing an inclusive, safe and healthy future for people with Developmental Disabilities ("DD") and/or Intellectual Disability ("ID").

Currently we need to direct our time and talents to focus on addressing needs in our own home - Yolo County - so statewide meetings are on hold. However, you may contact members of the statewide group by emailing them and hosting your own Zoom, Facebook, or other online meeting.

You do not have to attend a Zoom event to add your name to the list of families to befriend. (Please note "Disclaimer" below). To receive the list, write "DDFP Contact List" in the subject line and email us at:To see every adult with ID/DD in happy, healthy living arrangements provide a free
